2023 Recap & Thank Yous
Dear Friends,
As we approach the Holiday season and the end of the year, it's a good time to take stock of the year and say "Thank You" both to the Lord and to the many people who made an incredible year possible.
2023 in Retrospective
* This March, we hosted our first 10 Days international Summit in Dubai, with about sixty-five leaders from around the globe. After that, Cassi and I continued to India with Kirk Fraiser, Anjali Abbot, Abraham Shekar, and Sunil Gaikwad, casting vision for 10 Days in five cities throughout India.
* In May, 10 Days Pentecost took place in well over 100 locations around the world and online. We participated in a Global Day of Prayer for Israel with an estimated 100 million joining around the world partnering with ministries around the globe.
* From September 15-25, we saw over 400 10 Day events organized in 75 nations, growing from 300 locations in 2022. Our special focus this year was on missions and the 110 cities where 90% of the remaining unreached peoples of the world live. We are very encouraged to hear from several missions groups that the harvest this year in the nations has been unprecedented. While it's impossible to draw a straight line between our prayers and the harvest, I trust that in heaven's economy, our united prayers have played a small but significant role.
* Filming on a new documentary on the global prayer movement took place during 10 Days 2023 as the team traveled to five different nations to capture stories from the global prayer movement.
* On October 31st, the new book, 10 Days: The Unlikely Story of a Global Movement... was released alongslide Enjoying Prayer as part of the launch of Presence Pioneers Media.
Thank You's for 2023
It's been an incredible year, and we want to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" to several groups of people.
First of all, thank you to each of our 10 Days Coordinators who organized over 400 ten-day long prayer meetings. Without your initiative, faith, and dedication, this movement would not be possible. Every single 10 Day Coordinator is a volunteer, giving freely of their time, effort, and energy to raise up worship and prayer to glorify God and exult Jesus.
Second, I want to thank everyone who donated or gave financially to 10 Days. Thank you for believing in this ministry and supporting us with your gifts.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer this year, whether it was for ten minutes or ten days. Our goal as a movement is to draw people into God's presence through prayer and worship. Thank you for saying "yes" to this invitation and making 10 Days a reality.
Father, we give you thanks for an incredible year. You've brought us through many challenges and trials, and looking back we can see your faithfulness clearly. Would you help this little seed of faith to continue to grow and multiply in the nations, to the glory of your son Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
