Missions & Prayer Converge

It's my privilege to introduce you to a new member of the 10 Days team, Jordon Baker. Jordon is going to be leading our initiative this year to help people move from a catalytic season of prayer during 10 Days into training for missions and disciple-making. This is part of a much larger trend in the body of Christ of bringing together prayer movements and missions movements. I'd encourage you to also listen to Jordon's teaching (below) as it communicates more of his heart on this topic. Although he's a young man, he has wisdom beyond his years and we're honored to have him serving with 10 Days. He's also included a link for you to sign-up if you're interested in this new disciplemaking focus.

On January 20th-21st, we are helping to host 24 hours of prayer on Zoom for the Buddhist world. While we will have a good showing on Zoom, this partnership with underground church networks in the Middle East and East Asia is estimated to have over 100 million believers joining in prayer together. Check out the link below to pray for gospel breakthrough among the least reached in the Buddhist world.

Finally, Global Family 24/7 Prayer is entering its 3rd year of 24/7 prayer! We have about 13 hours that are currently available for new prayer groups. We're looking for new groups to adopt those hours in prayer (the same hour each week for a year). Pray about it and let us know using the links below if you'd like to sign-up for an hour each week to join with over 40 nations in the prayer room!

My name is Jordon Baker, I live in North Central Ohio with my wife and two kids. I’m so excited to join this passionate family of believers in uniting our cities to fast, pray, and exalt the name of Jesus.

I had a radical encounter with the Lord in 2014 that changed the entire trajectory of my life. I walked into a prayer room as a drug dealer, lost in new age religion, and held captive by bipolar disorder. In a moment, Jesus miraculously healed me of bipolar disorder and called me to follow Him. My passion for prayer and disciple making stems from this moment. Experiencing how the Lord uses extraordinary prayer to capture the heart of the lost.

In the years since, the Lord has enabled me to be a part of the worship and prayer movement in various ways; pioneering a unity movement of 50+ different churches in my city that is driven by prayer and worship and helping others do the same across the Midwest.

I’m also leading a house church community that is actively involved in making and multiplying disciples across our region.

My primary role within 10 Days is to help facilitate partnerships between missions organizations that are involved in disciple making movements. Additionally, I’ll be helping to create a sustainable off ramp for praying communities to begin intentionally making and multiplying disciples in their region.

Jesus is bringing the global missions movement and prayer movements together in a historic manner! As we form a global upper room, I believe the Lord is going to breathe on these consecrated days of prayer - filling us with power in the prayer room that we may be effective in the harvest.

The first practical step we are taking is partnering with Big Life, a global disciple making movement that has been training believers and multiplying disciples/churches in 140 countries for 20+ years.

Their network has embraced the vision of 10 Days and offered to train our city coordinators in DMM/CPM. If you or your team are interested in learning more or being trained, fill out this form.

I’m looking forward to connecting deeper and serving the Lord together in the days ahead!
