Registration: In order to register for the Fall, the first step is to send me an email at 10daysofprayer@gmail.com. If we know one another well, that will be enough to register you. If we are not already friends, I will probably want to dialogue a bit and get to know you.

Please help David and I act wisely—we need to have a good idea of how many are coming as soon as possible in order to work out a plan with Northfield. Please do not delay in registering if you are planning to come.

Cost: The cost of the A Time to Mourn is $400. We will work with you if you do not have enough money, including providing scholarships as they are available. Money should not keep anyone from attending. Please make checks out to Ten Days of Prayer and mail them to:

Donations: Donations will be used to cover the cost of scholarships, to support those who are investing significant time in this ministry, to allow 10 Days of Prayer to grow, and to begin to raise support for a regional 24/7 house of prayer in new England.

Deadlines: The Deadline for registration is August 30, 2008. Late registrations will be subject to a $100 increase in cost. Once again, in order to register you only need to inform me of your intention to attend by email. The deadline to be paid in full is September 15, 2008. 

Fasting: Because we will have children, nursing mothers, and people who cannot abstain completely from food in our midst, we will offer three tracks of fasting during the fall 10 days:

Daniel fast—vegetables, fruits, and some grains and oils
Juice fast—fruit and vegetable juice, fresh squeezed as much as possible
Water fast—water only

Other Venues: A Time to Mourn is in no way limited to Northfield. We want this to be something that the entire church engages in locally. In other words, we are praying that there will be churches, city-wide churches, and even region and nation-wide churches that agree to set apart 10 days each fall to seek God in fasting, mourning, and repentance.
