10 Days: The Unlikely Story of a Global Movement Mourning for the Return of Jesus is now available in Audiobook or Book!

Starting in 2004 with a visionary experience, this account tells both the good and the bad of a journey with God to see a seemingly impossible vision come to pass. The book highlights not only supernatural signs but also tragic mistakes, painful trials, and bewildering pitfalls that lead to what looks like complete failure. Through it all, the incredible faithfulness and miraculous provision of God are on display in some of the least likely situations.

This book will be especially helpful for those who have experienced both a deep passion and love for God as well as significant setbacks that have left them perplexed. It shows how God's faithfulness can operate through human weakness, but also how our growth in wisdom, discernment, and spiritual maturity is essential if God is to fulfill His great and precious promises in us. In a larger sense, it also paints the picture of the growth of a global movement that is filled with longing and expectation for the fulfillment of God's prophetic promises and ultimately the return of Jesus to rule and reign!

The Audiobook is available on Audible, Barnes & Nobles, Kobo, Libro, and StoryTel. Coming soon to Chirp, Google Play, Scribd, and Hoopla.

Here’s a short excerpt below from Chapter 3 of the book, where author Jonathan Friz describes receiving the 10 Days vision:

As I walked towards home, now open to even the crumbs from God’s table, I felt slightly dejected.

Santa Fe is a high desert, a small city of 60,000 surrounded by empty wilderness and the clear night air was refreshingly cool and dry as I walked.  The sky was full of stars and you could see the milky-way clearly above.  In an open lot to my left, sat a couple of concrete handball courts.  I sometimes liked to stop there and sing my prayers at night, but this night I was tired and prayed out.  As I passed by the courts, I suddenly felt the presence of God and heard a phrase in my Spirit:

“Babylon Refuses to Mourn.”

In hindsight I would ponder how strange and mysterious that phrase was, but in the moment, it did not strike me as strange, however, there was certainly a mystery about it.  To be honest, it was like hearing someone talk to you out of the blue when you don’t think anyone is around.  There was a sense of the nearness of God, but also of fear, as if I were in the presence of someone very great and powerful.   I was stunned.  I stopped walking and turned around as if an actual person were speaking to me, even though I knew I was hearing the words internally.  As I stopped, I felt a response rising up from within me, and I answered back to the Lord:

“But Your people will Mourn before you return.”
