Find Your Place in the Global Upper Room

All around the world, followers of Jesus will be gathering together in homes, church buildings, tents, public spaces, parks, and even online to fast, pray, repent, and seek the face of God during 10 Days (Sept 25-Oct 5).

It is exciting that all of this prayer is happening. However, it’s important for you personally to find your place in this Global Upper Room. Don’t be a spectator this year, and don’t let this opportunity to meet with God pass you by. You don’t have to be a prophet to see that the times are intense—we all need to know Jesus better and to be deeply rooted in His words to make it through the days ahead!

Here are four ways to find your place in 10 Days this year:

1. Join an existing location:
We currently have over 295 confirmed gatherings taking place. Each gathering has their own schedule, approach, and unique leadership. You can check here https://www.10days.net/locations-2022 to see if your city is one of them.

2. Say YES to The Challenge:
You may not have a 10 Days gathering being planned in your area or have a local group that you can pray with. However, you can take “The Challenge”, a personal commitment to fast and pray during 10 Days. You decide what the fast looks like, but we encourage some kind of fast from food along with avoiding social media and entertainment during the 10 Days. 3. Start a 10 Days in Your City:
We have seen hundreds of everyday believers start 10 Day prayer gatherings in their cities and towns, ranging from small groups praying together to large events that unite cities in prayer. 4. Join in 24/7 Prayer Online:
This year, as in the past, we will have a 24/7 global prayer expression online. Finally, as we approach 10 Days I’d encourage you personally make a plan of the special way you intend to meet with the Lord during this season of consecration. The inertia of “everyday” life is strong, and it takes intentionality to break free of the cares of life. Decide on how you will fast and at what times each day you’ll be in prayer. How will you engage your family and loved ones in this season of drawing close to Jesus.
