USA Summit Report
Report from Jordon Baker on USA Summit:
We are deeply thankful for everyone who participated in the 10 Days USA Summit. It was truly a family reunion and a refreshing time in God's presence. The Lord has uniquely called and equipped each city coordinator to steward His presence in their respective cities. It was beautiful to hear the diverse expressions of 10 Days across the country.
We experienced powerful times of worship, prophetic ministry, and fellowship around the table. Each speaker delivered a unique message with the overarching theme of returning to the rhythms and heart postures of the church in Acts. These moments encouraged our spirits and strengthened our community, drawing us closer to God and each other. Jesus will get what he prayed for! It is an honor to co-labor and begin responding to his prayer in John 17.
Themes and Insights
Generational Momentum: Fathers and Mothers of Worship (Davids) giving birth to sons and daughters of wisdom (Solomon). The new “winskin” Jesus is calling us to in the prayer movement will be built upon the meekness of wisdom (James 3:13).
Humility and Freedom From Offence: The Lord is calling us to forgive those who have sinned against us; those we’ve written off in our cities or been wronged by in the past. Joel McGill and Gaylord Enns brought powerful messages on the power of the body working together in unity around the mission of Jesus to love one another. 1 Corinthians 12:21 “The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
Mourning: We mourn because we’ve lost something or someone. In the kingdom the only way to get what you don't have is by asking! We mourn so we can receive joy; grace always flows to the lowest point. God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
Convergence of Prayer & Disciple Making: Our family from Biglife shared their hearts about returning to more simple and multiplicative ways of being the church. Then we went out to share Jesus with others in the community. Prophetic words were given at the outlet mall; a young man received Christ outside of the Hub, two separate families were prayed for and comforted amid the loss of their loved ones, cashiers were encouraged at gas stations, and many more people were impacted through simple obedience and love.
Looking Ahead
We are excited to begin intentionally gathering a team of leaders who will steward and multiply 10 Days gatherings across the USA. This is not about fulfilling an organizational obligation, but about creating space for existing leaders to embrace a larger vision. This will encourage collaboration across regions, inspire unity within the body of Christ, and empower communities to experience deeper encounters with God. Our goal is to catalyze a nationwide movement of prayer, worship, and spiritual renewal that transforms cities and hearts. We believe this next step is vital in seeing that dream come to life.
We are looking forward to laboring together in the days ahead!
With love,
Jordon Baker
